Arriv\u00e9e dans la capitale britannique, la Tamise est l&#8217;un des principaux axes de la ville, du palais de Westminster \u00e0 la tour de Londres. Elle \u00e9tait \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re sud de la cit\u00e9 m\u00e9di\u00e9vale; actuellement London Eye se trouve sur la berge oppos\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>On continue sur le chemin de halage du fleuve. En route, on traverse Richmond Park, le plus grand des parcs royaux de Londres, avec ses 955 hectares, comparables \u00e0 la superficie du Bois de Vincennes \u00e0 Paris et pr\u00e8s de trois fois la surface de Central Park \u00e0 New York.<\/p>\n<p>Par la suite on arrive \u00e0 Putney o\u00f9 on traverse le pont de Putney pour achever Fulham \u00e0 la rive nord. Ce pont est tr\u00e8s connu comme le d\u00e9part de la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Boat Race, une course annuelle entre les \u00e9quipes d&#8217;aviron des universit\u00e9s d&#8217;Oxford et de Cambridge.<\/p>\n<p>En continuant, on arrive \u00e0 Chelsea, la partie la plus riche de Londres et plus loin on traverse le pont de Lambeth. L&#8217;archev\u00eaque de Cantorb\u00e9ry habite pr\u00e8s du pont. On aimerait lui rendre visite, mais comme on n&#8217;est pas \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9, on passe et continue. Passant le Parlement on arrive au London Eye, la fin du voyage. On a parcouru 50 km \u00e0 v\u00e9lo et c&#8217;est l&#8217;heure du d\u00e9jeuner. Il est 13h30.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9jeuner, on retourne \u00e0 Epsom par un itin\u00e9raire plus court de 40 km. L&#8217;itin\u00e9raire est connu sous le nom de NCR-20.<\/p>\n<p>Finalement, on arrive chez George vers 19h, o\u00f9 sa femme a pr\u00e9par\u00e9 un diner magnifique !
